Adverts module loading URL's on homepage wrong 3 months 2 days ago #7860

Hi There,
I've got the Jom Classifieds - Adverts module loaded on my homepage but when I click on an advert it loads up the URL using the homepage ID.

Things I've tried.
I've added a category menu item to a hidden menu and then added that item ID to the module
I've added the module to other pages and tested if it loads correctly (which it does)

What I think the issue could be.
Because I'm using a Rockettheme template that loads a module instance into the template, the module isn't allocated a position OR allocated to a page within the menu allocation (it's actually just allocated to all menus) - so I think the module is having issues picking up the item ID field (it's actually adding the homepage item id into the URL)

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the delayed response. It is due to the time difference between our regions.

Actually, by default in Joomla the current menu item id will be assigned to all the modules and to overcome this issue, we have a solution in our Module settings where we get the Item Id dynamically and load it in that ID as you said "I've added a category menu item to a hidden menu and then added that item ID to the module". We never got this issue before and we don't know much about Rocket Theme. So please send your site URL, admin access to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. So that our tech team will check and fix it.

Thanks
