Yes. we are able to create unlimited level of categories. But in the search module, we are not able to specify the search engine to filter ads within a particular parent category. Other parent categories will still show on the page.
Do you think we need to do something on the search module in order to display sub-categories only on a selected main category.
Thank you.

To specify the type field in the search module without the parent types, you have to use Extra Fields option.

"Jom Classified ads Extension allows you to add custom fields for each category. For example, make 'model' a custom field associated with the 'cars' category only. Custom fields can be a text box, text area, dropdown, or checkbox."

The custom fields can be enabled or disabled in the serch module.

Dear Admin
I meant to select specific "Category" instead of "Field" in search module.

- Do you mean that you don't want categories list box that contain other parent category names and just want to display sub-categories list of a particular category. And need option to control this in module back-end.

Kindly make sure if I am correct. Our current version doesn't have option for this. But, this is a good Idea too. If this is what you look for, then I can take this into a discussion with our team members and do the possibilities. Please confirm !!!
