I choose to show only the 1st and 2nd category under root. ie root>Equipment>Machinery so I get Equipment/Machinery showing and all listings under it if I goto Machinery.

If I place other categories under Machinery - lets say "Truck" it doesn't show on the Classifieds Home Page which is normal as I have "Sub categories depth = 2" to hide all of these categories on the front page - but if I go into Machinery no sub categories are showing ??

So If I choose "No. of child location levels to be displayed -Sub categories depth = 2" it is always in relation to the root directory and the other categories will never show??

How do i get the sub categories to show only under the sub category and not all the categories to show on the front page??

If you select Sub-category depth as 2, only two levels of categories will displayed in All Categories layout. And when you click any categories from here, only the ads under the category will displayed and not the Sub-categories.
