TOPIC: approval admins

approval admins 2 years 2 months ago #3849

Hello guys,
I'm trying to find some function How I can control which administrator has to get email notification to approve ad. On my site is special user admin(one person) who has control and approve ads. Other administrators don't care about it and don't wanna receive approval emails.

How can i set and control it?

Thanks.

Kindly open your Joomla admin and goto System-->Global Configuration-->Server. Here under From Email field, kindly provide your administrator email id to whom the mail to be sent.

Thanks.

Thank for quick reply.
but this field is system email for sending emails, right? mostly something like This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. etc. In my case is different from person who actually control adverts.
I mean, I have user in joomla user list. That person has to control ads and want some notifications about it.
I', looking for some special field where I can select user from joomla user or at least write emails with comma,
I hope that you understand what I'm talking about, because I'm not really good in english.:-)

Kindly open the email.php file from the below path,
Root-->component-->com_jomclassifieds-->etc-->email.php

In the file, search the following code,
$return = JFactory::getMailer()->sendMail($emailFrom, $fromName, $emailFrom, $emailSubject, $emailBody);

And replace your email id in the place of $emailFrom like below,
$return = JFactory::getMailer()->sendMail('example@gmail.com', $fromName, 'example@gmail.com', $emailSubject, $emailBody);

Finally save the file and check.

Thanks.

Do I need to remove the account called Super Admin for this to work?
