I remember to have posted a topic about time format but I don't finf it anymore... :S
Italian users, as well as European users, need to read date in correct format DD-MM-YYYY.
it makes clear when an AD has been published and when un AD or Promotion is about to expire.
Please hurry to allow this option (time format) in configuration settings.

I suggest also one important thing:
Option to display only creation date instead of lapsed time in adverts list.
In adverts list I would like it, and one separator between different days.
Take it just a cue for future versions.
Thanks.

First of all, sorry for my english.
Until such time as the new version will be released, you can modify the php files and change this string: <?php echo JomclUtils::getRelativeTime($item->createddate); ?> for the: <?php $format = JText::_('DATE_FORMAT_LC1'); echo JHtml::date($item->createddate, $format); ?>

Don't forget on settings in your language ini files. It should work, I guess:-)

You need to modify the files:
components/com_jomclassifieds/views/advert/tmpl/default.php
components/com_jomclassifieds/views/category/tmpl/default_grid.php
components/com_jomclassifieds/views/category/tmpl/default_list.php

Replace string: <?php echo JomclUtils::getRelativeTime($item->createddate); ?> for the <?php $format = JText::_('DATE_FORMAT_LC1'); echo JHtml::date($item->createddate, $format); ?>

value: DATE_FORMAT_LC1 mean what kind of time you can use. About Timestamp and date in joomla please rad more here: nl3.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
Best Regards.
Richard.
